Entropy Machine edition by Charles Colyott Literature Fiction eBooks

As always, Charles Colyott has presented us with masterfully told stories that were both enjoyable and very difficult to read. This is as close to seeing into the mind of a psychopath as I ever care to come. A book you will not soon forget yet will look back on with both the great memories & enjoyment of a well told story, and horror at yourself for enjoying anything like this.

Entropy Machine edition by Charles Colyott Literature Fiction eBooks Reviews

Terrible language psyco story line. How could anyone publish such filth. Glad I skipped most of it don't waste your time reading this
Each story is well worth the $.99 I paid for this three story collection. As I finished the final brutal story, Prey, all I could wonder is if we'll see more of Beatrix and Stanley.
I enjoyed this story. Kind of creepy. I liked the Randall Lee stories and I liked the background I love the way the story is going.
This book more than met my expectations. I expected a few short stories to pass the time; a nice, easy ride in a Ford, down a street in the suburbs. Instead I seem to have grabbed onto the bumper of a Porsche flying down the autobahn.
Three stories that will keep you up long after the lights should be turned off. Highly recommend this author! Now I have to read his other books. Absolutely awesome.
Sometimes, you're not quite ready to jump into a new novel. You're in-between books, hovering in the cognitive vagaries between, mmm, let's say, an engaging but lengthy trek through a chunk of historical non-fiction, and a wild ride with a contemporary thriller written at a breakneck pace. You might not know it, but you're just looking for a little treat between your epic slogs. Something quick. Something fun and tasty, yet satisfying and enduring. Something that will burn inside your mind for months afterward.

Entropy Machine is the answer.

Three short stories from the darkest pits of psychological horror will leave you questioning humankind, questioning yourself, after you first step onto something of an elevator straight to hell in "Over the Face of the Waters," where you'll be battered by snapshots of the worst moments in the lives of what might be ordinary people, left to consider the depraved mind of whatever misguided god thought to will us into existence--and when you meet him/her/it, are you prepared to be disappointed?

Are you prepared for the irrelevance of old age? Can you bear the notion of walking unseen through crowds of young people with their whole lives ahead of them? How will you justify your continued existence in a world where your failing senses retain just enough awareness to assure you that you're totally obsolete, and no one cares? In "Remembrance," you'll learn one way out of this living hell, in a dark path toward lasting relevance.

Finally, prepare yourself for the ultimate experience in the hunter becoming the hunted, when an affluent predator sees the tables tipped extremely in the favor of his victims. Following the tranquilizing sting of a needle, this American psycho falls prey to his intended victim, culled anonymously from the Internet, and awakens to an experience that you will never, ever, ever-ever forget. Are you afraid of clowns, by chance? You will be.
great writer but WOW Very dark.
How do you describe this book? It features several short stories that are each extremely disturbing. That's not necessarily a bad thing as they're well written and very vivid. However, this is some seriously gruesome stuff - but still fun.
